Congressman Farenthold Praises Caterpillar’s Move to Victoria Texas

Caterpillar Inc. announced its intention last week to begin designing and manufacturing its vocational truck product family at its plant in Victoria, Texas.

This is great news for the Crossroads area. Having Caterpillar move its design and manufacturing of vocational trucks from Mexico to Texas, means more jobs, a stronger local economy, and that “Made in the U.S.A.” pride. Caterpillar made a great choice investing even more resources into Victoria’s community.

The Victoria area has excellent transportation infrastructure, vast educational opportunities, and an even better workforce.
