House Passes More Jobs Bills

In the 114th Congress we have reaffirmed our commitment to passing common sense legislation that reduces regulatory burdens, stimulates our economy, and puts more Americans back to work. This week the House has passed two more pieces of legislation that cut through unnecessary red tape and create more jobs for hard working Americans.

On Tuesday the House passed H.R 185, the Regulatory Accountability Act of 2015, legislation that reduces onerous regulations that continue to restrict economic growth and hinder job creation. By cutting through the red tape this bill would help small businesses invest more money in expanding their operations and give them the opportunity to hire more American workers.

In addition to the Regulatory Accountability Act, the House passed H.R. 37, the Promoting Job Creation and Reducing Small Business Burdens Act. This legislation makes necessary reforms to our regulatory system and represents a response to the needs of small businesses. I believe that by implementing conservative principles and getting Washington out of the way, we can reinvigorate our economy and give the American people the employment opportunities that they need and deserve.
