Moving Ahead with Tax Reform

Last week, President Donald Trump came out with a plan for tax reform that lowers the corporate tax rate and simplifies taxes for individuals. Now, the House Ways and Means Committee has to get down to the hard work of turning bullet points into legislative language. I'm optimistic that tax reform is going to come to fruition because it's one of President Trump's top priorities. With his experience as a business leader, he will be able to dig deeper into the details of tax reform compared to generalities he has used for some of his other projects. Through comprehensive tax reform, money that was going to Washington bureaucrats will be put back in the pockets of hard-working Americans - making American businesses more competitive and paving the way for economic prosperity and job growth.
