Obamacare Sold Under False Pretenses

Today during a press conference, I discussed the need to repeal Obamacare and replace the legislation with affordable health care solutions that Americans need. 

I was attorney general of my state of Texas and under these circumstances, I would say this is one of the largest, most colossal cases of consumer fraud perpetrated in the United States. Obamacare was sold under false pretenses. The American people have now paid the price of that.

I am, frankly, disappointed that the Democratic Leader has now taken the position of obstruction when it comes to reforming a health care program that they know is flawed.

Many of the Democratic Senators have identified pieces of Obamacare they’d like to change and reform.

I hope once our Democratic colleagues get past the denial of November 8th, they get over their anger and the various stages of their grief following the election, that they will decide that it is in their best interest as well as the American people's best interest to work together to replace Obamacare with coverage that you get to choose at a price people can afford.
