Pete Sessions Statement on August Jobs Report

Today I released the following statement regarding the unemployment report for the month of August:

As I review the details of today’s jobs report, I remain deeply concerned about the impact of ObamaCare on full-time jobs. Businesses across our nation have stopped hiring, laid off workers, and cut employee hours to part-time due to the health care law’s burdensome costs and regulations. House Republicans voted this summer to delay the ObamaCare mandates on employers and individuals and have voted several times to dismantle and repeal the damaging law. As Congress returns from the District Work Period this month, I will continue to fight to protect American jobs by repealing and replacing ObamaCare.
