Congressman Tony Gonzales Receives National Head Start Association’s PROMISE Award

Last week I received the National Head Start Association’s “Protecting Our Most Important Students Early” (PROMISE) Award. I previously served as the Community Representative for the City of San Antonio Head Start Policy Council from 2018 – 2019.

Head Start programs across the country help our children put their best foot forward. Whether it’s educational support or nutritional resources, these programs provide a foundation for a lifetime of success. I’m honored to receive the PROMISE Award and look forward to continuing to advocate for the program.
