The Political Chicken Takes You Back...To School!

Yep, you read that right.  It's back to school time, people!  To help you get prepared, I thought I'd help you to bone up on your rights as a parent.

I've written about Parental Rights several times before.  In fact, that was one of the first things that got me involved in politics was lobbying for an amendment to the US Constitution in order to protect Parental Rights from the United Nations Conventions on the Rights of a Child or UNCRC.

Add to that fact that I have three children that I home school, and my mom radar is always pinging with ways to make sure my children are protected.  So, you're curious about what I've written?  Good.  Here's a digest of all of my parental rights articles plus a bonus article that I wrote a few years back.  Happy reading!

First one is titled, "What Do Parental Rights and The United Nations Have in Common".  Short answer is that they should have NOTHING in common, but sadly, the do.  Read on to see what I mean.

Second one is titled, "Proof That Your Parental Rights Are Vanishing".  In it, I highlight the story of a man that was arrested because he was simply trying to circumvent the 'line' in order to pick up his daughter.  The officer on duty refused to release his daughter at that time, and all hell broke loose.  Ooooh, and don't tell me you wouldn't have made a bigger stink than the dad did.  I know I would have.

Think it can't happen here?  Think it can't happen to you?  WRONG!  Check out this article that I wrote about how one state legislature wanted to do away with next-of-kin clause, which in essence infringes on parental rights.  This one was titled, "Parental Rights Deserve Eternal Vigilance: Arizona's SB 1473 Proves It"

One last post for you before I go is one that reminds us to surrender our children's school year to the only one that can really handle the stress of life and schedules and such; God.  Check out "Come to Me Before You Back to School".  You'll be glad you did.
