Rep. Jackson Reintroduces Legislation To Prohibit Federal Funding For Corrupt Teachers’ Unions

Congressman Ronny Jackson (TX-13) reintroduced the No Federal Funding for Teachers’ Unions Act, which would prohibit the federal government from giving financial support to corrupt teachers’ unions.

Jackson said: “For far too long, corrupt teachers’ unions have controlled our children and schools. They have lined the pockets of far-left politicians to ensure our kids remained out of the classroom during the pandemic and are forcing them to learn radical and inappropriate curriculum that seeks to indoctrinate our students with a woke, racist, and anti-American worldview. Teachers’ unions even pressed the Biden Administration to treat parents who voiced disagreement with their decisions as domestic terrorists. The very people who are supposed to have our kids’ best interests at heart have repeatedly betrayed them. The grip corrupt teachers’ unions have over our children’s education must end. That is why I am introducing this key legislation as my first act in the 118^th Congress. Now, with control of Congress, House Republicans will end the Democrats’ control over our children! We will restore parents’ voices, prohibit corrupt teachers’ unions from using your tax dollars to advance their radical agenda, and send them a clear message: LEAVE OUR KIDS ALONE!”
