Want to Serve Our Country? Consider Attending a U.S. Service Academy Meeting

Young men and women interested in attending one of our nation’s military academies are invited to apply for an appointment from my office. Applicants to a service academy must first receive an appointment from either their U.S. Representative, U.S. Senator, or the Vice President.

Applicants must be between 17 and 23 years old and be a citizen of the United States. Applicants are evaluated on the basis of character, scholarship, leadership abilities, physical and mental fitness, and motivation. Attending college at a service academy is challenging, because leading the men and women of the United States Armed Forces is one of the toughest and most rewarding jobs on the planet.
