Biden Administration Suppressed Positive LNG Study

From day one, the Biden Administration pandered to radical climate extremists and waged war on the American energy industry. The Trump Administration and House Republicans have been hard at work reversing these egregious energy policies. Just this week, Department of Energy Secretary Chris Wright released reports revealing that even when they knew LNG exports did not increase emissions, the Biden Administration conveniently ignored and hid these studies to justify their radical climate agenda. I wish I could say I was surprised. 

I applaud Secretary Wright for giving the American people transparency on this critical issue. This report makes it even more timely that I reintroduced my Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act earlier this month. You can read more about this legislation here. 

I have been a leader in the fight to reverse the ban on LNG in Congress. Last Congress, I questioned the former U.S. Energy Secretary Granholm on the Biden Administration's burdensome ban on LNG exports, and this Congress, I will continue to fight for this issue until my legislation becomes law.
