Texas is known for our thriving economy, robust job market, and booming energy resources. As Governor, Rick Perry welcomed dozens of companies to the Lone Star State, which created thousands of jobs for Texans and made our state the most prosperous in the nation. He was also at the helm of a multi-billion dollar infrastructure program that created clean, renewable energy that was accessible to Texans ranging from the ranches in West Texas to the bustling Dallas metroplex. I am confident that as Secretary of Energy he will use his leadership skills and expertise to successfully unleash our nation’s energy capabilities, create American jobs, and put us on the path towards energy independence.
