Turner Reacts to Biden's move to Release Historic Amount of Oil from Strategic Petroleum Reserve

Following President Biden's statement to release 1 million barrels of oil per day for as long as 180 days from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, I released the following statement:

From day one, the Biden Administration has enacted polices that are detrimental to our energy industry - ultimately causing energy prices to soar and impacting our energy independence.

Rather than relying on our domestic producers, President Biden has turned to other nations, including Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, and OPEC to alleviate the financial pain his policies are inflicting on families and businesses. Now, the President seeks to release an unprecedented amount of oil from our Strategic Petroleum Reserve, which will not fix our current energy crisis nor lower long-term costs. You can’t fix bad energy policy by releasing oil from our strategic reserve.
