3rd Annual Honor Our Heroes

Please join me next Thursday, August 20, for the 3rd Annual "Honor our Heroes" event from 6:00-7:30 pm at the Trini Mendenhall Center in Houston. All are welcome! This gathering pays tribute to past, present and future servicemen and women. Special guests this year include: Craig Roberts, State Rep. Dwayne Bohac, Council Member Brenda Stardig and Rep. Sam Johnson (TX-3), who was held as a POW for 7 years in Vietnam's infamous "Hanoi Hilton."

Before the event, there will be an information session from 5:15-5:45 pm for high school students interested in the Service Academy nomination process.
