Brady Remembers Rep. Ron Wright, Proud Texan and Dedicated Public Servant

Yesterrday, I released the following statement on the passing of Rep. Ron Wright (TX-06):

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of my friend and colleague Rep. Ron Wright. Throughout his battle with cancer, and more recently COVID-19, Ron remained a steadfast representative for his constituents and always put service above self. Despite his health challenges, his good spirits never faltered and he remained an active member of the Republican Conference and the Foreign Affairs and Education and Labor Committees. 

Cathy and I are holding Ron’s wife Susan close in our hearts, and my deepest condolences go out to his children, grandchildren, and staff in this difficult time. I will miss working with my friend Ron, and know I speak for the entire Texas delegation when I say we feel his loss deeply. God Bless you friend, you will be missed.
