McCaul Supports Additional Federal Aid for Child Care Providers
I made the following remarks after joining several of my fellow colleagues in requesting additional funding for child care providers during the COVID-19 pandemic:
During the last several months, our child care providers have been faced with financial hardship while being asked to change how they operate. Congress must provide sufficient funding to ensure child care providers remain operational and safe during this time. A lack of funding would not only put providers in an impossible position but also would place a strain on parents who are required to go back to work but need someone to look after their child. I will continue to advocate for funding that helps meet the needs of the hardworking Texans back in 10th District.
