Praying for Texans Impacted by Flooding

I am grateful that Governor Greg Abbott has issued a disaster declaration for several counties in Texas's 11th District impacted by the recent flooding. This declaration will help ensure our communities have access to the resources and support they need. My office has been in close contact with local officials throughout the week, monitoring weather conditions, road closures, and the needs of those on the ground. 

We are committed to working alongside local, state, and federal partners to assist in relief efforts in the days ahead. Our prayers remain with our neighbors who have been impacted by these floods, and with the first responders working tirelessly to keep our communities safe.
