Veterans' Access to Child Care Act Passes House

This past week, the U.S. House of Representatives passed H.R. 840, the Veterans' Access to Child Care Act.

It is important that we do all we can to ensure that our nation’s veterans have seamless access to the care they have earned. The Veterans' Access to Child Care Act offers child care assistance for veterans who are receiving medical care. This bipartisan bill ensures that caring for a child does not create an unnecessary barrier to receiving needed health care services.

Our nation’s veterans have sacrificed much for our nation and they should be provided with the best possible care and have their needs put first.
