BETO O’Rourke NOT WANTED in TEXAS

Beto as he is commonly called is not Hispanic. He is in fact Irish American which explains his given name Robert Francis O'Rourke. Apparently Robert was given the nickname of Beto early on to distinguish him from his grandfather and because his mother, Melissa said that, “Robert didn’t seem to fit when he was a baby.” O’Rourke is presently the Democratic nominee for the Governor of Texas. He is challenging our Republican Governor, Greg Abbott. How did Beto get here you might ask. He began his political career in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. He was elected to the city council from 2005-2012. Soon after his departure from the council, he campaigned for Congressional District 16 and won, serving from 2013 to 2019. In 2018 he made a run for the U.S. Senate against Senator Ted Cruz and lost by a close margin. In 2020 he briefly campaigned for the Democratic nomination for president, apparently because he felt his celebrity status could ‘skateboard’ him to the Oval Office. He was not able to achieve any momentum or support, dropping out early in his bid for the White House.

After being defeated in two major campaigns, you would think he would quit while he was ahead. But, given his arrogance, love of attention and ambition, he chose to run against Governor Abbott, a popular governor. His platform consists of abortion for all, organize unions in Texas and gun control. His tone of voice is always at an emotional level.

His background is of course somewhat checkered. According to news accounts, Beto was involved in an automobile accident on September 27, 1998, in Anthony, Texas and attempted to flee the scene. Instead, he was arrested on a drunk-driving charge. The charge was dismissed after he completed a court-recommended DWI program. To this day, he contradicts what the officer Rick Carrera wrote on his report that he was trying to leave the scene.

What is more troubling to me is the “visions” he had as a teen. In 1988 he wrote a “poem,” “Visions from the Last Crusade” under the name of Psychedelic Warlord revealing his innermost thoughts on killing children. Reading the “poem” gave me chills.

This is the candidate that is cajoling citizens of Uvalde to vote for him knowing full well what his own thoughts were about his fascination with killing children. Citizens of Uvalde beware of the dangers that lurk around the corner.

“I put all my weight on my right foot, keeping

the accelerator pedal on the floor until I heard the crashing of the

two children on the hood, and then the sharp cry of pain from one of

the two. I was so fascinated for a moment, that when after I had stopped

my vehicle, I just sat in a daze, sweet visions filling my head.”

This is the very same man that crashed Governor Abbott’s press conference in Uvalde where the mayor of Uvalde asked police to escort him out. Do not believe the news media that Beto is doing well because he is not. The people in Uvalde do not want him except for the few that have no knowledge of our constitution and want only the age changed to 21 to purchase a rifle.

This is the candidate that approves of transitioning children. He recently tweeted, “I'll be a governor who supports trans kids and fights to ensure that they can thrive in their state.”

This is the same man that is running his campaign focused on killing the unborn. He entices women by saying that they have no freedom of choice. He tweeted this on September 3, 2022. “We must defeat Greg Abbott and fight to restore a woman’s freedom to make her own decisions about her own body, health care, and future.” When did this happen? Women are in total control of their own bodies, they have the right to say “NO” to promiscuous sex and have the right to family planning. No one has a right to kill another human being. We are all created in the image of God. We were not meant to act like animals. Humans have understanding and a spiritual side that is being dismissed by atheists and secularism.

This is the candidate that will confiscate your guns. Your freedom to bear arms will be lost. Listen to Beto in the YouTube link provided. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lMVhL6OOuR0 And NO he has not changed his mind. In fact, the Uvalde massacre has empowered him and is using this shooting spree to get votes.

O’Rourke is not wanted in Texas. His views are too extreme for Texans. His brash personality clashes with the sincere conservatives especially of the Hill Country. His lack of moral values are not what the people want in Texas. He was notably put on notice that he was not wanted in Comal County when he announced he was going to hold a rally at Canyon Lake High School which was quickly quashed by the Comal County School District. Finally after four public venues had turned the campaign away, O’Rourke landed on a private property in New Braunfels. He continues to crash Republican events. In Kendall County he actually asked to be part of a Republican forum. Of course, he was denied.

Texans, Republicans must understand that Beto is not right for Texas and that Governor Greg Abbott must be reelected. It has been mutually agreed that there will be a debate on September 30 at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Edinburg. As of this date Governor Abbott leads O’Rourke in the polls. Let’s keep it that way.
