Congressman Ted Poe on Defunding Obamacare

Today, I was pleased to support a Continuing Resolution that will keep the government open, get Washington spending under control and protect Americans from the harmful impact of Obamacare. Importantly, this bill permanently and fully defunds the unaffordable Obamacare. The House has stood up and acted; it’s time for the Senate to do the same.

An overwhelming majority of Americans agree that Obamacare is an unworkable law that destroys jobs, limits choice and raises the cost of healthcare. I spoke on the House floor today about a single mother of five from our community who is very worried about the harmful impact of Obamacare.
