Our Government is Not For Sale

Concerns about the Clinton Foundation are not new, but information that has recently come to light demonstrates once again that concerns are absolutely warranted.

While Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State, foreign governments with business before the State Department donated millions of dollars to the Clinton’s foundation, which they accepted. Of the contributions to the foundation that were more than $1 million, one-third came from foreign governments or groups not based in the U.S. And now, recently released emails show that Clinton Foundation staff asked the State Department to arrange official meetings with wealthy foreign donors.

Americans need to know their government is not for sale – unfortunately, as long as the Clintons are not being completely transparent, there will still be questions. It is past time for the Clinton Foundation to stop accepting contributions from foreign governments. This is the only solution to the organization’s disregard for its own rules and failure to deliver on its repeated promises of transparency.

I want to hear from you. Do you think the Clinton Foundation should stop accepting donations from foreign governments? Click here to take the poll.
