The Senate Must Pass the SAVE Act

As Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC), I joined nearly thirty of my colleagues in urging the Senate to take up and pass the SAVE Act to secure U.S. elections. Voting in American elections is a right reserved for American citizens only, plain and simple. The House did its job by passing this critical legislation months ago, and it's time for the Senate to act. 

The longer the Senate delays, the longer this commonsense legislation sits on the shelf. Seven Democrat senators must decide whether to stand with Republicans to affirm that our elections are legal, fair, and reserved for American citizens.
