America Has a Shortage of Workers!

Congress can easily solve America’s workforce shortage with sensible immigration policies that will grow our taxable legal workforce.

The opportunity to get Democrats and Republicans together has never been greater! Combine the President’s immigration plan and the Dream and Promise Act into one bill. This would amount to a bipartisan immigration solution that Republicans and Democrats could support.

The President’s immigration plan secures the border and moves us towards a merit-based immigration system that helps employers find skilled workers. The Dream and Promise Acts would provide Dreamers, Temporary Protected Status recipients and Deferred Enforced Departure recipients with a method to earn their legal status.

Republican lawmakers say they want a solution for Dreamers, TPS, and DED recipients, but they want to secure the border first. Many Democrat lawmakers claim they want to secure the border but they want to protect Dreamers, TPS, and DED recipients. God gave us a brain folks. We can do both at the same time!

President Trump recently outlined his immigration plan, while the House is expected to vote on the Dream and Promise Act in the coming weeks.

Neither of these will pass both the House and Senate standing alone. However, together they may have a chance to garner enough votes from Republicans and Democrats to pass.
