Kay Bailey Hutchison Has Best Chance Against Bill White

Texas Republicans and conservatives have a choice this year. The questions I ask when deciding where to start include:
- Is there a conservative record? (All three have one with some blemishes.)
- Who has a vision of the problems Texas faces and how to anticipate and deal with them?
- Who is the strongest November candidate that can also help our down ballot people?
After analyzing all three candidates, I decided Kay Bailey Hutchison brings the most to the table given the above mentioned criteria. Bill White will be a challenge in November, and KBH has consistently had a bigger lead over him compared to Rick Perry and Debra Medina. In addition, I detect among swing voters and independents, Perry fatigue, which will not help in November when those votes are clearly needed for a GOP victory.
