Town Hall Listening Sessions
I want to extend a big thank you to all of you who attended my Town Hall Listening Sessions across Texas’ 19th District these past few weeks. We heard some great ideas about how to best reform social security to make sure it’s still around for our children and grandchildren, and ways we can ensure better care for our veterans. I’m glad we all agree on the pressing need to secure our southern border to protect our communities and our legal immigration process. The other theme I heard across the board was the desire to hold the Obama Administration accountable. After discussing the continued overreach by the Executive and the numerous scandals coming out of that office, it’s clear that we in West Texas and the Big Country are fed up with the lawlessness of this Administration.
I’m pleased with our exchange of ideas. As always, I’ll working in represent your interests and advocate for the values that matter to us most.
Thanks to everyone who stayed after the program to visit with me one-on-one and discuss your individual concerns. I hope you’ll keep in touch with me by writing, emailing, calling, and faxing my office. I always appreciate knowing what matters most to you.
