The Terrorists Among Us and the Inevitable Consequences!
If all do not join now to save the good old ship of the Union this voyage, nobody will have a chance to pilot her on another voyage. - Abraham Lincoln
CNN: Al-Awlaki threatens Americans
How long will it take for Americans to wake up to the dangers of the Islamic ‘religion of peace’? President George W. Bush tried to distinguish between the terrorists that murdered innocents during the attack on 9/11 and the peaceful Muslims days after the attacks. I venture to say he wanted ‘peace’ and did not want any retaliation against American Muslims. It is said that Anwar al-Awlaki was even invited to break bread at the Pentagon after the 911 attacks as a gesture of reaching out to the Muslim community. After the 911 attacks we were all in shock trying to understand WHY? We were willing to accept that not all Muslims wanted to kill us after all we don’t ‘hate’ the Muslims so why should they want to hurt us? Certainly there has to be Muslims living in America who do not wish us harm. But I must say that given the statistics of terror attacks and home grown Islamic terrorists since 911 and just since Obama took office, it is difficult to even fantasize that Islam is a ‘religion of peace’.
One of Obama’s first Executive Orders was to close down Guantanamo on January 22, 2009. As much as he has tried, he has not been able to close Gitmo. And of the detainees that have been released, 1 out of 4, in the last eight years have proved to be back ‘working’ at ‘killing Americans’. So with the remaining released detainees not killed or captured and the home grown terrorists popping up like popcorn we are in deep trouble. We don’t know where the next terrorist will want to prove his faithfulness to Allah.
Obviously the Obama Administration is not doing its job of keeping us safe from Islamic terrorists. These barbarians are being treated like criminals instead of the Islamic terrorists that they are. In Obama’s world there is no ‘War on Terror’. It is only in our world that we see signs of the ‘religion of peace’ encroaching on our freedoms and our very lives. When our very own president denies the fact that there is a ‘War on Terror’ it is almost impossible to stop the inevitable. Major Nidal Hasan, Carlos Bledsoe, Mohamed Osman Mohamud and Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab all showed signs that they had some sort of tie with the Islamic ‘religion of peace’. The signals were unheeded.
After doing my research of the following terrorists I find that immigrants even though they become American citizens do not automatically ‘love’ or are remotely ‘loyal’ to America. Even those that are born in America can still become radicalized by converting to the ‘religion of peace’. Then there is always that suicide bomber like the Underwear Bomber from Nigeria who decided to kill Americans by wanting to give up his own life. Another common factor is the young age of the home grown terrorists. We must be ever vigilant of the ‘diversity’ that is being taught at our schools indoctrinating our children and college students. Al Awlaki as a former chaplain at George Washington University had an excellent opportunity to ‘guide’ the very impressionable student.
Anwar al Awlaki was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico and is wanted dead or alive by Executive Order. This is probably the one thing that Obama has done that I agree on. Al Awlaki is believed to be hiding in Yemen and is the imam that received emails from Maj Nidal Malik Hasan before the Ft Hood attack. Hasan massacred 13, including an unborn baby and injured 32 army personnel at Ft Hood, Texas on November 5, 2009. The American born Hasan shouted "Allahu Akbar!” God is great during the attack. He is presently in custody in Bell County awaiting trial in January and receiving his full Army pay! Army officials might ask for the death penalty. Anwar al Awlaki is also connected to the Underwear Bomber. On Christmas day 2009 Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, a Nigerian, attempted to kill approximately 300 passengers during a flight to Detroit, Michigan. His trial is set for January 12, 2011 and he will be representing himself. AbdulMutallab’s father visited the American embassy to warm them of his son but to no avail.
On June 1, 2009 Carlos Bledsoe also known as Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad killed Pvt. William A. Long of Conway, Arkansas and attempted to kill another man outside an Army recruiting station. Muhammad was born in Memphis, Tennessee and converted to the ‘religion of peace’ and went so far as to travel to Yemen to find his bride. He is awaiting trial this coming February, 2011.
Faisal Shahzad a naturalized American citizen is the only terrorist that has been punished for his ‘crime’. He is the terrorist that tried to bomb Times Square on May 1, 2010. He has been sentenced to life in prison for his terrorist actions. Another naturalized American citizen is Farooque Ahmed of Ashburn, Virginia who was arrested on October 27, 2010. He planned with others to kill as many metro riders as possible around the DC area. I have personally travelled the metro countless times and can say that there are numerous stations where the bombs could have been planted for simultaneous explosions. He pleaded not guilty and will remain in custody while awaiting trial on April 11, 2011. Another naturalized U.S. citizen, Mohamed Osman Mohamud age 19 an immigrant from Somalia was arrested on November 26 by the FBI. Mohamud using his cell phone had planned to explode a bomb planted in a car in the middle of a crowd at Pioneer Courthouse Square. This action would have killed thousands of people during the Christmas tree lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon. He is the most disturbing because he has been obsessed with being a jihadist since age 15. What I find even more troubling is the headline, “FBI thwarts terrorist bombing attempt at Portland holiday tree lighting, authorities say”. It could not be any clearer how politically correct this headline is. I guess we must not offend this Islamic terrorist, after all he is only 19 and just learning our ways.

The most recent home grown terrorist that I know of is American born Antonio Martinez, also known as Muhammad Hussain. He is also a convert to the ‘religion of peace’ and at the age of 21 had planned on killing as many soldiers as possible by detonating a bomb in a parked vehicle in the Catonsville, Maryland recruiting station’s parking lot. In his own words, “Every soldier that we see in uniform will be killed on the spot, Insha'Allah," or God willing, he said, according to court records. "They will be killed until they stop waging war against … Islam." If Hussain is found guilty of intending to destroy government property he could receive life in prison.
I have lost count of all the Islamic ‘terrorists’ that want to kill us on our soil. At this point I don’t care why they hate us; I just know that they do! I am of the opinion that the time for ‘analyzing’ why they want to kill us has passed. It is time that we take action by understanding that they do intend to kill us and start by acknowledging the fact that there is a War on Terror. Now, if only we could convince the Obama Administration.
08 DEC 2010 – Antonio Martinez an American citizen from Baltimore also known as Muhammad Hussain was arrested for plotting to blow up a military recruitment center, tried to detonate a phony bomb at an Armed Forces recruiting station in Catonsville, MD.

The FBI says it secretly recorded Martinez talking about killing American service members. "Every soldier that we see in uniform will be killed on the spot, Insha'Allah," or God willing, he said, according to court records. "They will be killed until they stop waging war against … Islam."

Farooque Ahmed
27 OCT 2010 - Farooque Ahmed, 34, of Ashburn, Virginia and a naturalized US citizen was arrested on 27 OCT 2010 for attempting to assist others whom he believed to be members of al-Qaeda in planning multiple bombings at Metrorail stations in the Washington, D.C., area.
The Ashburn jihadist signals a greater danger
By Walid Phares
The FBI's arrest of Farooque Ahmed of Ashburn, Va., for allegedly assisting al Qaeda in planning multiple bombings around the nation's capital paints a sobering picture of the threat we still face from jihadists.
The FBI charged the 34-year-old computer engineer, husband, and father of one and naturalized U.S. citizen with "providing material support to terrorists and collecting information for a terrorist attack." Emphasizing the gravity of the case, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia Neil H. MacBride remarked that Mr. Ahmed was "accused of casing rail stations with the goal of killing as many Metro riders as possible through simultaneous bomb attacks."
"During a meeting at a hotel in Herndon, Virginia on Sept. 28," the indictment reads, “Ahmed suggested that rolling suitcases be used instead of backpacks, and he said that he wanted to kill as many military personnel as possible."

Failed Times Square bomber Faisal Shahzad was sentenced this morning to life behind bars for trying to set-off a parked car full of explosives.
A defiant Shahzad said "Allahu Akbar" -- Arabic for "God is great" -- after the judge sentenced him to the mandatory life imprisonment.
"Brace yourself because the war with the Muslims has only just begun," he told the judge before he was sentenced during the 30-minute hearing. "The defeat of the US is imminent and will happen in the near future." Read more here.
Underwear Bomber Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab
25 DEC 2009 - Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, the British-educated son of a Nigerian bank executive, allegedly attempted to set off a bomb sewn into his underwear on a Northwest Airlines flight from Amsterdam, Netherlands, as it approached Detroit, Michigan.
Accused underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab fires lawyers, plans to represent self
"I prefer to represent myself. ... I don't feel any representation I get would represent me in a way that's in my best interest," Abdulmutallab said.
Outside the courtroom, the head of the defense team, Miriam Siefer, said Abdulmutallab has the right to represent himself "and he's exercised that right." She declined further comment. Prosecutors also declined to comment. The next court hearing is Oct. 14.
05 NOV 2009 - Fort Hood massacre involving US ARMY Maj. Nidal Malik Hassan an American citizen of Palestinian descent killed 12 and an unborn baby and wounded 32 service personnel.

The panel also will determine if Hasan had a severe mental illness during the Nov. 5, 2009, shooting, and if so, whether such a condition prevented him from knowing at the time that his alleged actions were wrong.
After a brigade commander receives the panel's report, he will recommend whether Hasan should go to trial and face the death penalty for 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder. The final decision about how the case will proceed rests with a commanding general.
Last month an Army colonel who presided over a recent military hearing for Hasan made an initial recommendation that he should be court-martialed and face the death penalty. Army officials have not said if they would seek that punishment if Hasan goes to trial.

In his own words:
It's a war out against Islam and Muslims and I'm on the side of the Muslims point blank ... The U.S. has to pay for the rape, murder, bloodshed, blasphemy it has done and still doing to the Muslims and Islam. So consider this a small retaliation the best is to come Allah willing. This is not the first attack and won't be the last.
Muhammad is yet to convince U.S. authorities he's anything other than the murderer of Pvt. William A. Long of Conway, Ark. He's being held on state charges, awaiting a February trial.

Qaeda-Linked Imam Dined at Pentagon after 9/11
NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2010
Awlaki was invited as "...part of an informal outreach program" in which officials sought contact "...with leading members of the Muslim community," the official said. At that time, Awlaki was widely viewed as a "moderate" imam at a mosque in Northern Virginia.

As for the statement "We must be ever vigilant of the ‘diversity’ that is being taught at our schools indoctrinating our children and college students." I believe you have little understanding of the diversity concept that is being taught but use the term "diversity" as a means to incite emotional response based upon YOUR ideas. "Diversity" is not something that should be warned against as doing so denotes a prejudicial viewpoint denying equality before God.
Finally, you define the "war on terror" as something unacknowledged by the current administration. You do this through what real facts? Can you understand the following statement from Obama? Does it make any sense to you at all?
"We will always seek to delegitimise the use of terrorism and to isolate those who carry it out," it states. "Yet this is not a global war against a tactic – terrorism – or a religion – Islam.
"We are at war with a specific network, al-Qaeda, and its terrorist affiliates who support efforts to attack the United States, our allies, and partners."
"Terror" has always be with us be it spousal abuse or the likes of the Oklahoma bomber. It's an inaccurate statement to assume that an administration is not doing it's best to protect us from terrorism no matter who is at the head of an administration. Your particular issue is focused upon one aspect and the above statement should give you a clue as to that aspect is being considered. That is if you understand the term "clue".
Just fine
The article was fine - not the best written, grammatically speaking, but it certainly was factual enough, and the conclusions were sound. While you're blathering and pontificating, we have a very serious threat that this writer has outlined well enough.
Carry on.
