Republican Party of Texas issues a Call to Arms

Texas has a target on its back. The Democrats know that “as Texas goes, so goes the nation,” and they have declared Texas a battleground state and are doing all they can to turn Texas blue. The Democrats have sent in the EPA to usurp permitting authority from Texas, passed an outrageous health care bill that Texans overwhelmingly don’t want and that kills Texas jobs, and they are actively recruiting and deploying activists across Texas through Organizing for America and the Obama White House so that they can continue with their liberal agenda. The Democrats think they have a really good shot at taking the Governor’s Mansion, the Texas House, and picking up a few seats in Congress. They want to take the momentum and use Texas as a launch pad for 2012. We can’t let that happen.

It is more important now than ever that we stand up against the onslaught from the liberal Democrats in Washington, D.C. With your help, we can take a stand against the tax and spend antics of the Democrat party and instead ensure that common sense, conservative Republican leadership continues to guide Texas down a path of liberty and prosperity.

This is where we need your help. As a grassroots organization built from the bottom up, the Republican Party of Texas relies heavily upon the work of enthusiastic volunteers. Volunteers like you can help us as we march towards the battle to defend our state and take back our nation this November.

Here's how you can help. The RPT is starting Texas Trailblazers, a statewide volunteer network to unify concerned Texans under one goal: Victory in November. We will be coordinating with campaigns, groups, and clubs all over Texas to build a network of energetic Republicans that can be called into action based upon their location as well as specified interests.

Whether you're interested in phone banking, block walking, or outreach, and whatever your skills, Texas Republicans need you. You can help re-elect our great conservative leaders, and help elect new leaders who will fight for us in Austin and Washington. Texas' strength, freedom, and prosperity aren't an accident, they are the result of your efforts and our strong conservative leadership - and as a member of the Texas Trailblazers, you can help ensure that Texas stays strong for the next generation.
