Rep. Roy Sends a Letter Pushing for Answers from Austin, TX, Police Chief Regarding Explosives Found at Tesla Dealership

Rep. Roy contacted the Austin Police Department (APD) and Chief of Police Lisa Davis regarding the uptick in violence against Tesla Dealerships in response to the work of Elon Musk and DOGE. On Monday, March 24th, 2025, the Austin Police Department were dispatched to a Tesla dealership in north Austin after multiple “suspicious objects” were discovered in the dealership’s showroom. The APD bomb squad determined that the suspicious items were incendiary devices – which could have been used to harm someone or destroy property if detonated.
