Texas GOP Featured Voice: Andrew Castanuela

Andrew Castanuela has joined the race to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate, and he says he has done so because like most of us, he is tired of too much government and no common sense in fiscal spending or the protection of American morals and character.

Castanuela strongly believes in tax reform, stating that our current tax system penalizes the middle class and provides opportunities for our government to manipulate the congressional budget. He is also an advocate for our Second Amendment rights, saying that our founding fathers wanted to ensure that its citizens have the right to bear arms. You can view his platform in more detail here.

Andrew Castanuela is currently retired from the Air Force with decorations in Basic Training, PME Leadership, Good Conduct, Achievement, Accommodation, Global War on Terrorism, Longevity, and Overseas.

Castanuela is affiliated with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Lifetime), National Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (NAADAC), Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP), and the Texas Farm Bureau.

He currently lives in Early, TX with his wife and six kids.
