Greg Abbott Wins Texas Gubernatorial Election

The following is a statement from our next governor of Texas, Greg Abbott:

The people of Texas have spoken, and I am deeply honored to be your next governor.

As Texans, the bonds we share transcend our differences. We all want to live in safer communities, to have greater opportunities, and to give all of our children lives worthy of their promise.

Now more than ever, we must show that Texas-style conservative leadership provides real solutions to problems Texans face.

Tonight, we celebrate, and tomorrow, we go to work.

Together, we will keep Texas the beacon of opportunity and the best state in the United States of America.
