A Tsunami of Change
The spring issue of Inspire Magazine, is titled, “The Tsunami of Change – The unfolding revolution has brought with it a wave of change”, Inspire is the online edition of al-malahem media publications.
This issue, the Spring 2011, or as it is stated in the Muslim time frame, Spring 1431, we find such world renown pundits and scholars as Dr. Ayman Al Zawahiri discussing the short and long term goals for the current sweeping revolutions in the Middle East and North Africa. You may be thinking, “Hey, I recognize that name, where have I heard it before?” Well, you are correct, you have heard it before. If you can remember, and it is hard to think back that far, there once was a guy named Ayman, who hung out with his friend named Usama. Yes, those guys! Now it is possible some out there have forgotten those wars of former President George W. Bush, but I sure remember when we were at war in Iraq and Afghanistan.
It might be hard to remember because when Dubbya was President, we heard constant attacks against him by the Democrat party, the left wing media, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and every other progressive pundit as well as Code Pink and most notably, Cindy Lee Miller Sheehan. They attack him as a war criminal and our military as, once again, wait for it, “crazed, blood thirsty baby killers”. If it wasn’t exactly in those words, it was something close to it.
Now, with President Barack Hussein Obama II in office, THEIR GUY, you would think that those terrible unjust wars were long past settled by him. Huh, kind of makes you think what happened doesn’t it. But, those wars remain and everyday our American men and women put their lives on the line for you and your freedoms.
But, because it doesn’t work in their favor, the left wing barking dogs have placed shock collars around their own necks in an effort of continued support of their man. And it is hard for them because he, in no small surprise to them has not only continued with the Bush wars and GITMO, he has now expanded America’s involvement into Africa. What is it that conservatives and Republicans hear from them now, “hush little baby don’t say a word, Barack is gonna read ya a teleprompter read word”.
That aside, the Muslim world has not forgotten the American invasion of their lands. They are fighting and dying for their religion. And they are now expanding their fight all across the Muslim world through their own, community organizer inspired ways.
The Spring 1431 issue of Inspire – And inspire the believers has such uplifting articles as “Individual Terrorism Jihad”, “What to Expect in Jihad”, and “Why Did I choose al- Qaeda”. Oh, and I almost forgot, “Training with the AK47”.
In the letter from the editor it says, “With the removal of the despots, the ummah will speak its voice, and when it does, it will chant; ‘Here we start and in al-Aqsa we’ll meet’ ”.
To quote Wikipedia, “Ummah is an Arabic word meaning 'community' or 'nation'. It is commonly used to mean either the collective nation of states, or the whole Arab world. In the context of Islam, the word ummah is used to mean the diaspora or 'Community of the Believers' and thus the whole Muslim world.”
The editorial goes on to say that the only things standing between the mujahidin and the freeing of al-Aqsa were the tyrant rulers. Now that the friends of America and Israel are being systematically removed, the path to al-Aqsa is being cleared for them to move.
The long standing regimes of the Middle East and North Africa have been propped up by the West and more importantly, the United States since the end of the Second World War. American money, influence and military power have been a heavy hand of stability over the entire region. The West looked the other way while tyrants and despots ruled over and terrorized their own peoples. The West and America will now have to own up to the fact that the hatred and animosity of the Muslim World against them is at least, partially their own faults. That, and the American support of the Nation of Israel.
The editor states that the issue of Palestine is central to the ummah and that the preaching of jihad in defense of the Muslim ummah will be heard publicly now that the tyrants are gone.
Yahya Ibrahim, editor of Inspire goes on to say, “The West has publicly stated its support of the revolution of the masses…do they mean it…or do they not realize the reality of what is happening…or just jumping on the band wagon?” That is a good question isn’t it? Most of us out here ask ourselves that same question most everyday. “What in the hell is going on? What is the administration doing and why?” We are at a very perplexing time for America loving citizens. What has happened to our Nation as the beacon of hope and light to the poor, huddled masses longing for freedom in the world?
He continues, “the west believes that the revolts are bad for al-Qaeda…not the case.” He states further that the west believes that, “because Tunisia and Egypt were peaceful, al-Qaeda was not involved”. He states they say this because al-Qaeda prefers the open conflict method. He says they are wrong about al-Qaeda and that true believes will back peaceful change but will also use force if needed. Either is a means to an end.
His last paragraph of the editorial states, “the revolutions that are shaking the thrones of the dictators are good for…Muslims…mujahidin and bad for the West and their henchmen in the Muslim world. We are very optimistic and have great expectations of what is to come.
Please investigate for yourselves what the Muslim world is saying for its self. Don’t rely on the news media or our government to give you the true feelings, goals and ambitions of the Muslim world. Their goals are the right path as they see it. The ambitions are the path laid out for them by their religion and the prophet and they have waited since the beginning of European Colonial times to regain their status in the world and they are coming for it. They will regain their own lands and expel the west from it.
Those liberals that read this will say, “there you go again, spouting your hate, you right wing Neanderthal. You are just a racist and are too dumb to see the wave of freedom sweeping the world” There is no doubt that the left will see this as a wave of freedom. And it is in a way, freedom from one oppressor to…what exactly? Read the Muslim worlds own words and listen to what they have to say and if you do it with ears to hear and eyes to see, the truth will open your thoughts to the reality of the world. He, who has ears, let them hear.
As a side note, on April 1st 1974, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Ruhollah Mostafavi Moosavi Khomeini calls for an Islamic Republic in Iran. 5 years later on, April 1st 1979, Iran proclaimed an Islamic Republic following fall of Shah.
Al-Aqsa Mosque Masjid al-Aqsais the Muslim and Arab word for the Temple Mount in Jerusalem which includes the al-Aqsa Mosque and the famous Dome of the Rock with its golden dome that you see in every picture of Jerusalem.
