Andrew Castanuela, often referred to by CAS, is a candidate for the office of the United States Senate in 2012.

Andrew retired from the United States Air Force in 2008 and currently works for a non-profit organization (Center for Life Resources) in Brownwood, Texas providing drug and alcohol counseling to adults and adolescents. Andrew has two Associates Degrees, one in Applied Science from the Community College of the Air Force and the other in Social Psychology from Park University. He holds Bachelors in Science from Park University in Social Psychology. Andrew has acquired numerous continuing education units from Rutgers University, Harvard Medical School, Kansas State University, The University of New Mexico, and the University of Oklahoma.

Castanuela strongly believes in the Constitution as the rule of law. He supports tax reform, stating that our current tax system penalizes the working and middle class while providing opportunities for the federal government to manipulate the congressional budget. He also advocates for Term Limits, Government Reform, Tax Free Retirement Accounts, Energy Independence, and the Bush Doctrine. You can view his platform in more detail here.

Andrew Castanuela is affiliated with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (Lifetime), National Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor (NAADAC), Texas Association of Addiction Professionals (TAAP), National Rifle Association (NRA), Texas Rifle Association, Texas Farm Bureau, Brownwood Chamber of Commerce, Conservative Hispanic Society, and the Brown County Republican Women.

Andrew Castanuela is married to his wife Diana from San Antonio, TX and has six kids. They currently reside in Early, TX.

Andrew Castanuela has also been featured as a Voice of the Texas GOP.
