"The first step in understanding the pro-life position of the Republican Party is recognizing the role the government should play in the lives of Americans. The government is an institution that tries to establish a moral standard for society, while simultaneously protecting citizens. There is no better example of a government fulfilling its purpose than protecting the life of the unborn."
