Voice of the Conservative Vote: Travis Clardy

Travis Clardy is State Representative for Texas House District 11. Travis Clardy is a small business owner and attorney who get results for our community. Travis and his wife, Judy, raised four sons in East Texas. He knows the challenges facing his district and will work for families, businesses and schools.

Travis has served on the Executive Board of the East Texas Boy Scouts, is a Paul Harris Fellow at the Nacogdoches Rotary Club, is a sponsor of the Heartbeat Pregnancy Center, is an active member of the North Street Church of Christ, participates on the Alumni Advisory Board for Abilene Christian University, and is a member of the Dean's Circle for the SFASU College of Fine Arts.

"Education can no longer be treated as a 'one size fits all' program. Students and parents have varying needs and goals, and it is important that we work to help them overcome obstacles so they can reach their full potential. I will fight for this goal by providing more control to local school districts because the districts know best what needs to be done to overcome the challenges students face on a daily basis."
