World War II - Japanese Surrender - A piece of history totally unknown to those born after 1945

The following was sent to me by a friend of mine, Shirley Spellerberg:

This is an actual film made of the surrender ceremony of the Japs to McArthur in Tokyo Bay in September 1945. Actual voice of the General. Never been shown to the general public before. We always saw the "stills" but never the film itself.

If you are a history buff, you WILL enjoy it!!! | Historical Footage: Japanese Surrender Signing Aboard Battleship Missouri Sunday Sept. 2, 1945.

An important piece of history. Most people have seen still photos of the event but havent seen the newsreel of it.

A film of the actual ceremony of the Japanese signing their surrender ending the second world war. General Douglas MacArthur was the supreme commander of our armed forces in charge of the signing ceremony.
