Responding to Radical Climate Change Activists

Senator Bernie Sanders recently published an op-ed in Fox News titled "Climate Change Is a Threat to Our Planet — And We Must Address It" calling for urgent action to address climate change by shifting away from fossil fuels entirely.

All Americans can agree that we need clean air and water, but Senator Sanders’ exclusively anti-fossil fuels stance oversimplifies a complex issue and threatens the supply of energy for Americans, our allies around the globe, and developing economies.

In response, I published a piece arguing that we must embrace American energy sources like liquified natural gas (LNG) to simultaneously lower harmful emissions, strengthen U.S. security and economic prowess, lift impoverished communities worldwide, and bolster democratic values.
