Mayor Ivy Taylor defeated former state Sen. Leticia Van de Putte on Saturday night in the runoff election for San Antonio mayor. With 100 percent of the vote counted, Taylor received 50,659 votes or 52 percent compared to 47,328 votes or 48 percent for Van de Putte.
