Arrington Issues Statement Honoring Two Navy SEALs Killed in Action

Chairman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) issued the following statement in response to the announcement from CENTCOM that the two Navy SEALs lost at sea, one of which a Texas Tech graduate, had been declared dead after a 10-day search.

“I’m heartbroken to learn that we have lost two exceptional warriors, one of which was a Texas Tech graduate, during a recent operation off the coast of Somalia.

Anne and I are holding their friends, family, and teammates in our prayers as we remember their service.

Navy Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Christopher Chambers and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class Nathan Gage Ingram represent the very best of America, and we are undeserving of their selfless sacrifice. Thank God for the few who raise their right hand and swear to defend our great nation and confront the evils of this world head-on.
