Obama Snubbed by the Chinese in Copenhagen

Obama is beginning to become known as a pushover patsy more and more everyday. This notion began when Obama would lay down the lines and then let people cross them without consequences. Furthermore, due to his actions as president so far, people are starting to question whether Obama is comfortable with the relative decline in U.S. influence in the world.
Obama's "lots-of-velvet, not-much-iron approach" to China has had "substantive implications" thus far and could explain why Obama was snubbed by China's Communist head of government, Wen Jiabao. British author and journalist Mark Lynas recounts his experience at the Copenhagen Climate Conference:
What I saw was profoundly shocking. The Chinese premier, Wen Jiabao, did not deign to attend the meetings personally, instead sending a second-tier official in the country's foreign ministry to sit opposite Obama himself. The diplomatic snub was obvious and brutal, as was the practical implication: several times during the session, the world's most powerful heads of state were forced to wait around as the Chinese delegate went off to make telephone calls to his "superiors".
Hopefully Obama learned something from this event and will stop allowing himself to be pushed around by other countries!
