You are hereHerman Cain
A year ago, I wrote a story about Herman Cain’s 9-9-9 plan and of course one leftist troll simply stated that Cain was nuts and didn’t bother with explaining why. Cain’s own philosophy was then, and still is, to find a path toward elimination of income tax in favor of a national sales tax. The beauty of Cain’s 9-9-9 plan was not only its simplicity, but the broadening of the tax bill of business tax, sales tax, and income tax. The broadening of the tax burden allowed for lowering marginal tax rates
Having finished reading the “Growth and Opportunity Project” report from a blue ribbon panel appointed by Chairman Reince Priebus, it reported seven different areas for improvement in the next campaign cycle. Each area described will likely have appeal to some people. To find your niche to help out, please read the entire report—it’s not that long—located at: growthopp.gop.com/default.aspx and many other sites.
However, I propose an eighth area of improvement. Let me call this the Team for America approach.
Sunday evening August 26th 2012---in Tampa. It is cloudy, muggy, and 79 degrees. It’s drizzling but no hurricane yet!
We saw Herman Cain at the Tampa International Airport yesterday while we were waiting for our luggage. He was surrounded by a group of about 15 people who looked under 30 and all were excited and peppering him with questions. He was smiling and talking and looked happy to be here. Read more »
At a work show, I once stood behind a man at the booth of a very large and well-known corporation that was advertising a position. Looking at the duties, the man was saying that he had done exactly those things in his work in a U.S. military service. The response was that unfortunately the position required a college degree. So here, a demonstrable grown-up who had done these things in a responsible position, could be put aside for a green college grad with a piece of paper.
This past week, I participated in the Cain's Solutions Revolution on the Hill. Cain’s goal was to reunite the Tea Party leaders, grassroots activists of his campaign, and create a new Army of David’s to pound the street for free market reforms. Cain’s solution is an outreach of the Cain’s presidency, and while the focus of the Cain’s solution is his tax plan 9-9-9;
As we all know, many states’ primaries, and the Electoral College system (which preserves a semblance of states’ rights) operate on a “winner-take-all” basis. The winner, even if it is only by a small handful or even a single vote, gets all of the delegates or electors. (The GOP is changing some of this, but that will be saved for a future article.) Henry Hazlet in his classic book, Economics in One Easy Lesson, noted that the key to understanding economics is not just to look at who benefits today from an anticipated economic policy but to look at the long run. It has been said that in the long run, we are all dead, but it doesn’t mean that one can’t review policy as long term efforts. Read more »

Now that the Liberal mainstream media has decided what we should think about our GOP candidates, it may be time we take a good hard look at them through their eyes.
Most or even all of the sexual harassment claims against Herman Cain were, in the view of many voters, completely contrived, or brazenly embellished by Democrat operatives, and published by their allies in the media. This perceived effort served both to discredit the candidate and to hog-tie Cain’s campaign into consuming campaign time and effort to address the claims. Read more »
No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the invisible hand which conducts the affairs of men more than the people of the United States. - George Washington
There is nothing more critical, more pressing than to have a person in the White House we can trust. We should be so afraid to elect someone to the office of President who does not have any moral fiber.
