Many of the responses on Facebook expressed the horror and disbelief, with responses coming from folks who are rarely politicaly active but stunned at the carnage committed. A total of two men and one woman and three children were killed over the weekend while camping on their land near Palestine, Texas. One woman survived the attack by hiding and called police Sunday morning.
