During remarks to U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Secretary Pete Buttigieg, Congressman Tony Gonzales (TX-23) emphasized the importance of adding a nonstop flight from San Antonio International Airport (SAT) to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA). Sen. Cruz Demands Answers from Corporation for Public Broadcasting about NPR’s Biased Reporting

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), Ranking Member of the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee, sent a letter to Patricia de Stacy Harrison, the President and CEO of the Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB), questioning her about taxpayer-funded National Public Radio’s (NPR) reporting, which has become increasingly liberal and partisan in recent years. McCaul Accepting Applications for Class of 2029 Service Academy Nominations

Issues: 

U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul (R-Texas) announced his office is now accepting applications for students in Texas’ 10th district seeking a congressional nomination to a United States Service Academy. Every year, the congressman can nominate up to 10 candidates from his district to be considered for appointment at the United States Air Force, Merchant Marine, Military, and Naval Academies. Protecting Postal Offices in Texas

Issues: 

I introduced the Timely Mail Delivery and Postal Services Protections Act to freeze the consolidation of mail processing facilities by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS). The USPS plans to scale back operations at crucial processing sites nationwide — including the facility in Midland, Texas, that serves 172,000 people in the county and thousands of families and businesses throughout West Texas. Antisemitism on College Campuses

I strongly condemn the antisemitic, terrorist-supporting protests happening at college campuses and in cities across the country that are threatening the safety of Jewish Americans. It is appalling to see thousands of people across the United States openly supporting the Hamas terrorists who waged a brutal attack on Israel only six months ago.
