The Department of Veteran Affairs has yet to recover the relocation bonuses that were fraudulently obtained by executives at the department. On Thursday, U.S. Sens. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Mike Lee (R-Utah) introduced the “Reciprocity Ensures Streamlined Use of Lifesaving Treatments Act (S. 2388), or the RESULT Act,” which would amend the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act to allow for reciprocal approval of drugs. When it comes to our children’s education, I have always believed that we need to roll back Washington’s involvement in our classrooms. Since the deeply flawed No Child Left Behind Act – which I voted against – was implemented we have seen student achievement in math and reading sharply decline. As an Iowan, I will be part of the first wave of voters determining who will be the Republican nominee. As someone who will not be voting for Donald Trump, I do have a few observations. The recent climate agreement is nothing more a great betrayal of the middle class and poor here in the United States as the left will continue their war on fossil fuels while increasing the cost of energy. From a world perspective, a pundit summarized the result as he wrote that this treaty represents the “transfer of wealth from the poor people in rich nations to the wealthy people in poorer countries.” Read more about The Paris Betrayal
President Barack Obama’s legacy to fundamentally transform America was on the global stage the first two weeks of December in Paris, France at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. His weapon was the radical green agenda and American taxpayers were his victims.
