I hate to admit it because so many dear friends are working to fight against the Houston's HERO proposition on the November ballot, but I hate the way most of the campaign is being handled. It's primarily been a target to get the religious right out to vote and targeting fear about men being allowed in women's restrooms. It seems we are constantly waiting in lines for government. Whether it’s renewing your license, or trying to get some benefit you’ve been paying into for 40 years, there will be lines. Too bad it will never be worth it to pay somebody to wait in a government line. However, in the private sector, waiting can pay well.
