In honor of the great message that Clint Eastwood delivered to the Republican National Convention last week, there is a one-day grassroots movement effort to encourage all Americans to place an empty chair near their front sidewalk.
From several sources in the convention, and now newswires, we are now hearing that the Rule change controversy has been resolved in favor of States’ retaining full control over delegate selection. The Texas delegation, which by numerous accounts led the charge to get this accomplished is to be commended. Details will be unveiled tomorrow (Tuesday), but but the below has been going out from members of the Rules committee.
Local grassroots leaders from the red states of Texas and Tennessee today announced the launch of Volunteers for Virginia, an independent get-out-the-vote project that will support Virginians in defeating Obama in November.
