An Anonymous Doctor posted an article on a blog called Whatever: Still Running Against the Wind.

The title of the article was "Guest Post: A Doctor On Transvaginal Ultrasounds".

This anonymous doctor called for civil disobedience to protest doing ultrasounds before abortions as required by law in order to inform the woman that

Lt. Governor David Dewhurst issued the following statement regarding the injunction of the Texas sonogram law by a federal judge:

"This ruling is a tragic setback for Texans who care deeply about the rights of the unborn and the legislators who worked in a bipartisan way to get this bill passed into law. I will work with Attorney General Abbott to appeal this ruling."   Read more »

On Wednesday February 9, 2011, the Texas Senate State Affairs Committee held a public hearing on the Ultrasound Bill, Senate Bill 16, introduced by Senator Dan Patrick, a Republican from the Houston area. I drove to Austin to testify along with many other men and women, in spite of the predictions of temps below freezing and rain, sleet and snow.

The Supreme Court intended Roe v. Wade to "settle" the abortion debate. Abortion would finally be accepted as a permanent and necessary right of a modern progressive society. Baby Boomers are still split with 51% believing abortion to be morally wrong according to a recent poll.  But, what about younger generations.
