Congressman Tony Gonzales Attends Ladera Elementary Ribbon Cutting, Visits With County Officials
I met with veterans, businesses and first responders across Medina County recently. I visited the Vulcan Materials quarry in Hondo, stopped by the American Legion and Castroville State Bank in Castroville, spoke the Devine Volunteer Fire Department in Devine and attended the ribbon cutting ceremony of Ladera Elementary School. I supported the Devine Volunteer Fire Department’s grant request to the Gary Sinise Foundation, which they were successfully awarded in the spring.

I enjoyed being back in Medina County to meet with local leaders, businesses and first responders. It was also great to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Lareda Elementary. This school will play a critical role in raising the next generation of leaders and I appreciate the hard work of those who made this a reality.
