Meeting with Vice President-Elect Mike Pence

Last week, the House Republican Conference met with Vice President-elect Mike Pence. During the meeting, we talked about the priorities of the incoming Trump Administration, including tax reform, border security, the repeal and replacement of Obamacare, job creation, infrastructure development and more. One issue we also discussed was a continuing resolution to maintain government funding until President Trump takes office, when House Republicans can pass a budget that will allow President Trump to implement many of the reforms and priorities he ran on as a candidate.

President-elect Trump has an ambitious plan for the first 100 days of his presidency, and I look forward to working together with my colleagues in both the House and the Senate to get our nation back on track and make America great again.
