DNC Criticized Trump for Deporting Mother who was Deported by Clinton

An 11-year old girl whose mother was deported in 2018 spoke last week at the Democratic National Convention. The DNC attempted to use her story to blame Trump for the policies that removed her mother.

It turns out that there is more to this story.

Bill Clinton’s administration originally deported the girl’s mother, Alejandra Juarez, in 1998. The Obama administration renewed her deportation order in 2013, after she returned to the U.S. illegally. This second deportation order was then carried out in 2018, under the current administration.

According to the girl’s mother, Bill Clinton “signed the harshest immigration bill that the nation had seen in decades,” referring to the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996.  Alejandra further declares that “a Democrat president, Bill Clinton, ruined and continues to ruin thousands of lives by creating this law.”

This is just another example of Democrats blaming President Trump for something they are guilty of themselves.

For those of us who want to see the US fix its outdated immigration system, these kinds of political games don't help!
