In the most recent Rasmussen Reports poll of likely Texas voters, Republican candidate for Texas governor Rick Perry has a 6 point lead over Democratic candidate Bill White.
The gap between Perry and White is narrowing as Perry had an 8 point lead in February and a 10 point lead in January. Furthermore, with 6% of the voters undecided, Republicans have to do what they can to make sure these votes do not go to Bill White! Texas does not need Bill White's Obama-like "hope and change!"
Candidate | Percentage |
---|---|
Rick Perry | 49% |
Bill White | 43% |
Some other candidate | 3% |
