Pelosi: Tea Party hijacked by GOP, shares common ground with Democrats

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi says the Republican Party has hijacked the tea party movement for its own gain. She even went as far as to say that the tea party movement shares common ground with the Democrats! According to Politico:

Pelosi still believes Washington Republicans are trying to quietly influence the tea party movement through well-funded, fake grassroots organizations, referred to as "astroturf."

...she said she's not worried about the threat the movement presents to her party.

Not worried about the threat the Tea Party poses to her party? Is she not aware of the 9/12 Washington Tea Party protest or any of the other many protests taking place nationwide? Maybe she'll just have to wait until the November elections for it all to sink in!
